Betsuin ARP Receives Award from AKCHO
Congratulations to the Betsuin Arson Restoration Project committee and thank you to the Association of King County Historical Organizations for presenting the Temple with an AKCHO 2025 Board Award.
On October 28th, Seattle Betsuin accepted an Award from AKCHO as part of a night of honoring “programs and projects that have made our county’s history shine.” Thank you to the ARP committee for their ongoing work towards restoring the Temple! Gambarimashou. We hope that you will visit us when the temple re-opens in 2026.

The additional GoFundMe goal was also exceeded twice, thanks in particular to TGJ fans donating from Japan! The campaign is no longer active and donations can now be made directly to the Arson Restoration Project. All donations to the GoFundMe TGJ fundraiser went directly to the temple.
