Thank you to Mas Tahara and The Tengu Club for hosting a showing of “The Tengu Club” during Dharma Exchange on 9/21. The documentary is an exploration of Japanese American identity and experience from the early 1900s, through Japanese Internment, and into the present day. The film highlights the Tengu fishing club and the story of professional fly-fisher Hillary Hutchens as she learns more about her family’s past.
