Dr. Jason Wirth of Seattle University will be hosting a lecture as part of the Seattle Buddhist Study Center this Sunday. The lecture will begin at 11:00am in the Seattle Betsuin Buddhist Temple dining room. All are welcome to attend and for those that have time, there is a service beforehand in the Main Hall of the temple starting at 10:00am.
Reverend Kiyonobu Kuwahara will be at the Seattle Betsuin on Saturday, October 19th to give a lecture on Master Shinran’s KyoGyoShinSho. Join us for a wonderful lesson on the essential teachings of our founder, Shinran Shonin.

Rev. Dr. Takashi Miyaji will be hosting the inaugural seminar of the Seattle Buddhist Study Center. The lecture will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd starting at 7:00pm. On September 3rd, the Gomonshu-sama will be visiting the Northwest District Buddhist temples and the Seattle Betsuin will be hosting a welcome banquet. The Gomonshu is the head priest of our sect of Buddhism and we are extremely honored and excited to welcome him to the Pacific Northwest.
Reservations are available now for sustaining members of the NW District temples. Registration may be done online via the link below or through the attached form on this page. Forms can also be found via the temple office. Payment must be made at the same time as reservations in order to hold your spot.
