Dr. Sharon Suh of Seattle University will be leading a workshop in mindful eating as part of the Seattle Buddhist Study Center on January 25th starting at 9:00am.
During this half day retreat, you will learn foundational mindful eating principles and practices. Mindful Eating – Compassionate Living focuses on rediscovering a joyful relationship to food and our bodies and is based in Buddhist practices. Participants will engage in meditation, mindful movement, discussion, and receive take-home materials to support their practice.

Dr. Sharon A. Suh is a professor of Buddhism at Seattle University. She is also a certified Mindful Eating-Conscious Living facilitator and trained in trauma-informed yoga.
