On April 7th, the Seattle Betsuin will be hosting its annual Hanamatsuri service and luncheon. “Hanamatsuri” means flower festival, which is part of our symbolic celebration of the birth of Shakyamuni Buddha.
This is a great opportunity to welcome back old members, bring in new faces and to invite friends and family to attend a beautiful service. Please consider inviting someone who may be interested in learning more about our sect of Buddhism this weekend
There will be a complimentary luncheon in the gym following service. Please come out to learn about the symbolism behind Hanamatsuri and to celebrate the beauty of the Buddha’s birth.
The luncheon will start at 11:45 following all of our after service activities.
